1. Make sure you have an ISDN modem capable of 128 K (rtfm)
2. Make sure you have a 128K (2 channel) ISDN line installed by TELSCUM
3. Install modem with correct ISDN 128K drivers.
4. Create a dialup connection to the number 285 0500, sommer call it MWeb JHB (CapeTown ppl must find # somewhere else)
5. Go to the properties of your MWeb JHB dialup.
6. Go to the "Multilink" tab at the top of your properties screen.
7. Select the radio button (dot) which says "use additional device"
8. "ADD" a new device and select the "ISDN Driver Line2" (or something similar as long as it is line2)
9. Use the same number for line2 : 285 0500
10. Click "OK", click "OK" again to go out of "properties"
11. DIAL YOUR NEW CONNECTION (MWeb JHB)
12. When you are connected, double click your connection details (2 little monitor thingies in the bottom right of your screen called "taskbar")
13. If it does not show you a detailed screen click the "details" button.
14. If it is not already on 128K follow the next steps :
14a. Check if "Multilink" is shown above "password authentication protocol" (it should say "multilink" first.
14b. If it does not show multilink , disconnect and try again, UNTIL IT SHOWS "MULTILINK"
14c. If it does show multilink but only connected at 64K, then click the "RESUME" button until it gives you 128K !!!!!!!!!!!!!!
YOU SHOULD NOW HAVE 128K connection to MWeb JHB !!!
These steps are for Windows98, but it should not differ lots in other Windows Versions.
